On 20 August 2019, the Official Journal published the List of authorities designated by Member States to receive applications for, or to issue, binding origin information (2019/C 281/04).
On May 7, 2018, the U.S. Department of Commerce published notice of its periodic request for comments on subsidy programs provided by countries exporting softwood lumber or softwood lumber products to the United States. Commenters have 30 days from today – or until June 6, 2018 – to submit written materials or commentary regarding (1) the country providing the subsidy; (2) the name of the subsidy program; (3) a brief description of the subsidy program; and (4) the government body or authority that provided the subsidy. All comments should be filed via regulations.gov with reference to Docket No. ITA-2018-0002.
On April 15th 2018, changes in legislation and guidelines on military equipment were introduced. The amendments apply to the Military Equipment Act (1992:1300) and the Regulation on Military Equipment (1992:1300), as well as the Swedish guidelines on export and other international cooperation.
On 29 June 2017, the Swedish Government announced that it is proposing the adoption of more comprehensive control of armaments. The announcement said, in pertinent part:
