On Tuesday, March 25, 2014, Baker & McKenzie will host a breakfast briefing to discuss the latest trade & customs developments in Argentina. This discussion will take place in our Washington, DC office. Esteban Ropolo, a Partner in our Buenos Aires office and a member of Baker & McKenzie’s International Trade and Customs Practice Group, will be leading this discussion.

This will be a lively discussion as Esteban talks about the impact Argentina’s trade barriers have had on the country.  He will provide an update on significant developments following Argentina being ranked the third most protectionist country by the WTO.  As a consequence of these measures, claims have been filed against Argentina by more than 40 countries in the WTO. Esteban will review the most significant barriers and provide practical guidance for how best to navigate them.

This discussion is particularly important for companies currently doing business in Argentina or looking to expand their business into this region.
